Education Requirements
- High School diploma/GED required
- Post-secondary education in fabrication, preferred
- Prior experience with metal fabrication operations and equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains and manages daily shipping and receiving
- Manages and processes all outbound packaging and of loading of materials
- Order entry of Purchase Orders and assist with packing and shipping maps as needed
- Basic customer service including answering and directing incoming phone calls, taking messages, reporting on order status and resolving customer issues
- Assistance with procurements and partner communication in a support role
- Product onboarding – this includes receiving procurements, coordinating with other departments
- Any other tasks assigned by Department Manager
- Inventory Control and ordering of materials and parts as directed by Shop Foreman
Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to complete short-term projects with tight deadlines
- Desire to learn new skills related to the role including computer hardware, software, and extensions.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees
- Fundamental knowledge and skills in Geography and/or GIS preferred but not required
- Self-motivated and driven
- Ability to drive and operating forklifts
- Must be able to lift 75lbs.

Salary
15.00 – 20.00 / Hr Based on Experience
